The City of Westwego's tourism center provides information to visitors about nearby

attractions.Tourism is a growing sector of importance in Westwego.Visitors can stay nearby as they visit historic Salaville with its Farmers & Fisheries Market, Historical Museum,  and Westwego Art Center as well as the Alario Center or Bayou Segnette State Park.

The Westwego Tourist Information Center is located at 10 Westbank

Expressway, on the corner of Westbank Expressway and Louisiana St.

On October 23, 1951, the town of Westwego became the City of Westwego
